Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s Disease can be challenging at times due to changes in behaviour. If this affects you or your loved one, you’re not alone.

About the study

The aim of this global study is to learn whether a new investigational treatment may help reduce some of the behavioural symptoms associated with Alzheimer’s Disease and improve quality of life.

The behaviours can show up as:

  • Feeling restless or unable to settle
  • Becoming more irritable, frustrated, or upset
  • Pacing, fidgeting, or repeating movements
  • Raised voice, shouting, or becoming verbally upset
  • Resisting help when feeling frightened or distressed

Study visits take place over 8 weeks at the Scottish Brain Sciences research sites in Edinburgh or Aberdeen.
