Scottish Brain Sciences joins forces with Aberdeen FC Women

Scottish Brain Sciences joins forces with Aberdeen FC Women

We’re proud to share some exciting news… Scottish Brain Sciences is now an Official Partner of Aberdeen FC Women for the 2025/26 season!

Our name will be on the back of the team’s shirts this year, but this partnership is about more than just logos. It’s about shared values of passion, teamwork, and community — and a joint commitment to making a difference both on and off the pitch.

“For us, football and brain health have more in common than you might think. Both are about teamwork, resilience, and community. Supporting Aberdeen FC Women is a way to celebrate the passion of the women’s game while also inviting people in Aberdeen to join us in research that could change lives. We’re excited to be on this journey together, on and off the pitch.”

~ Professor Craig Ritchie, CEO & Founder, Scottish Brain Sciences

By supporting Aberdeen FC Women, we’re backing the incredible growth of the women’s game in Scotland while also raising awareness of brain health. We’ll be using this partnership to shine a light on the vital research taking place right here in Aberdeen — research that could change the future for families affected by Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other brain conditions.

We can’t wait to cheer on the team this season and work together to promote both women’s sport and brain health. Here’s to an exciting year ahead!
